A Little Bit About Us

Annie

A creative from the very start, even as a young girl, Annie was always asking to change the decor and design of her room. So, her mom would hand her a brush and roller and empower her imagination to turn into creation! (#momgoals, by the way). Years and who knows how many gallons of paint later, Annie’s love for design and creativity moved from her childhood bedroom into her own home. As an adult, Annie discovered how the design and intention of a space contributed to how a guest would feel when they walked into her home. She has always had a heart to entertain and host and create spaces where people feel welcome, known and loved.

Kevin

A hands-on learner from the start, Kevin has always had the ability to bring new life out of broken things. In fact, he worked for many years on a unique finish carpentry crew known as the “fix it” team. They were sent into jobs where other crews were struggling and needed help coming up with solutions and action to finish a project. Friends, neighbors and family members always know they can go to Kevin for anything from a DIY project gone wrong to building whatever idea they may have in their mind for their home.

Ílo Design

Put the creativity and design brain of Annie together with the action-oriented, make it happen hands of Kevin and you get: ILO DESIGN.

Starting in 2021, we decided to turn what had been a passion and hobby into a professional service to share with others. Since then, we have been able to work on close to 100 kitchens. As a couple, we admire one another’s strengths and work together as a team to serve our clients from the conception of a home project to the completion of the transformation and everything in between. Our love for each other and our heart for others is displayed in the way we care for our team and for our clients on a personal and individual basis. Our dream of always wanting to start a business together is playing out and we look forward to many more years of making homes beautiful!
